Inspiration: Disney

So I'm going to rant a little bit today about the magic of Disney and, for those of you that know me, I am 110 billion% a Disney fan! I just finished watching the behind the scenes look of Frozen 2 that recently released on Disney+ (highly recommend watching it) and I had to stop after the first episode because I was so overcome with emotion that I cried the entire episode. That is the power Disney has on me.

In the lowest points of my past, I have found release in singing Disney songs and watching Disney movies to the point that I wanted to be apart of the magic. I think to be able to transform a simple child who just plays pretend and sings Disney songs all day into an adult that would knaw her own arm off for the chance to write a Disney Animation is truely a testiment to how much affect they have on others.

Durring Covid-19's beginnings, I obviously heard the parks were shutting down and that Disney was going to lose all this revenue, blah blah blah. And it struck me for a moment that Disney could one day not exist and I didn't like that. I didnt like that feeling because all of my life I had this goal to work for Disney and it never dawned on me that at any moment something terrible could happen and this company could collapse in on itself. Obviously its a very dramatic thought and putting that kind of doom on sucha big pillar of my life was irrational. But it woke me up from complacency.

Back in 2016 I saw Moana and immediately dove into making my own music video. Because of all the pitfalls that were happening at the time, it went from this happy girl to a dark place and its something I haven't really forgiven myself for, I guess. But the point of me bringing it up is because at the time I didn't hesitate to make it. I didn't hesitate to be apart of the Disney magic and that is what kicked back in and brought me on the path I'm on now.

I know I started this saying it was about a rant about Disney but clearly it spiraled more in the direction of me so yeah. Here we are. As much as I want to go back and delete this post and start over, thats against the rules of word vomiting. So instead I'll just leave you with the advice to go check out that new Frozen 2 Behind the Scenes video thing, because its totally worth the watch, and just have a good day.

Well that was a hot mess. What a better way to end the week with some quality word vomit ranting about nothing 🤣 See ya Tuesday guys!

Expand Your Mind...

Let's face it, language learning isn't easy. But it can be fun and ultimately unite us across Lahnds and Rehlms. All we have to do is expand our minds. This is easiest understood by those who speak Earth English, but other languages from other places may also understand this language lesson.

Tip #1: Laugh every time you mess up and then try again. Every mistake is an opportunity to learn and grow. Embrace it!
