Okay, so much has happened in the last month, I'm not even sure where we are in the big book of myth. Have no fear, for this summer, I'm sitting down with a few mythical divine beings to teach us more about underrepresented immortals. Here's the lineup for the month so you don't miss out!

All summer long, be sure to check in every Sunday to participate in our Planet Lore Scavenger Hunt. They'll show you the way!

Keep your trusty reference book, "Mythology: The Illustrated Anthology of World Myth and Storytelling", in a safe place this summer. I encourage you to pick up a copy and explore all that world mythology has to offer!

Everyone has an origin story...

Before time had a name, only two immortals roamed the Universe—Order and Kae’Ahs. Four divine beings were soon born from their powers, each with a unique purpose. The eldest, Gai’Ah, created a Rehlm to entertain the Universe, shaping four immortals to aid her. They, in turn, created beings of their own, filling Planet Iti’Bah—the living form of Gai’Ah’s second child—with immortal life.

But harmony was fleeting. Between Yah’Yehl’s rebellion and Deh’Mi’s curiosity, a great flood was unleashed and nearly swallowed the planet whole. In a final act of sacrifice, Ahtah’Bae, Iti’Bah’s great protector, merged her power with Yah’Yehl’s, calming the waves and preserving three fragments of land. Yet in doing so, they birthed Oh’Shun—a minor water Rehlm that would forever divide those above and below its surface.

With power imbalances shifting and tensions rising, the immortals of Eh’Fi stand at the precipice of a new divine era. Alliances will form, empires will rise, and the power of love will prove unstoppable.
