About

I was a simple barista in South City with a lukewarm social life and a writing career going nowhere fast. That is, until my eccentric grandmother, Lu, passed away, forcing me to return to the valley I hadn’t seen since I was a child. No big deal. I’ll just show up to the funeral, embrace the discomfort for a few hours, and then go back to my apartment in South City. That’s what I was thinking until the mayor told me that Grams left me and local bumpkin, Brentli Tiller, as co-owners of her massive farm. Brentli doesn’t believe I can handle the life of a farmer, but I’m determined to prove him wrong. I refuse to gift him my inheritance just because I’ve spent a few years in the city. It’s time to roll up my sleeves, dust off old ghosts, and uncover the secrets of Altera Valley. I just wish I weren’t so out of shape!
